A machine shop is a working building. Overhead cranes, lifts, welders running all day, fluids and chips on the floor, trucks and trailers backing in. The slab, the clearances, and the structure all have to be sized for it. Our machine shops are built heavy from the ground up — starting with the concrete.

Heavy-duty slabs

Standard is 3000 PSI 5-inch reinforced. Upgraded to 6 inches or 4000 PSI when equipment loads or lift pits require it.

Tall sidewalls

Crane-ready engineering

If you need an overhead crane, the columns and runway are engineered up front — not added later.

Drive-through doors

Large roll-ups or drive-through openings sized for trucks, trailers, or specific equipment.

Lift pits and drains

Concrete pits, trench drains, and oil/water separators planned with the slab pour.

Electrical and air
